On August 3, the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor said that the working delegation of the Provincial Industrial Park Trade Union had a working session with the grassroots Trade Union of the Ba Don Public Works Management Board to grasp the living conditions, jobs and aspirations of union members and workers at the unit.
The Ba Don Public Works Management Board currently has 70 staff, workers and laborers, most of whom are direct workers, responsible for tasks such as environmental sanitation, tree care, urban drainage, etc.
At the meeting, representatives of the Provincial Federation of Labor acknowledged the difficulties and recommendations from the grassroots trade union, and shared, encouraged and proposed a number of practical solutions to improve the material and spiritual life of workers.
This is also an opportunity for trade unions at all levels to listen and better understand the current situation of workers at the grassroots level, contributing to helping trade unions better perform their role of representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers in the coming time.
