On July 9, Mr. Le Van Nghia - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor - and the working delegation inspected the actual investment project to build trade union facilities in My Tho Industrial Park, Trung An Industrial Cluster (Trung An ward, Dong Thap province), including the My Tho social housing item for workers.
According to the report of the Project Commander of the Joint Venture of Corporation 319 Ministry of National Defense - Dai A Chau - Tan Phat - Viet Chao, the project was started on July 26, 2025, with a total construction time of 725 days.
To date, the project has been implemented for 343 days, reaching about 47.31% of the contract progress and ensuring the overall approved progress. Many structural items, construction, plastering, and technical systems have been deployed simultaneously, and some tasks have exceeded the plan.
The supervision consulting unit said that the construction site maintains sufficient manpower and machinery, ensuring requirements on material quality, labor safety, environmental sanitation and fire prevention. At the same time, it is proposed that the contractor continue to supplement manpower and equipment, proactively source materials, and closely coordinate between units to accelerate slow-progressing items and maintain the overall progress.

Inspecting the actual construction, Mr. Le Van Nghia acknowledged the efforts of the investor, the supervision consulting unit and the contractors during the construction process. He requested the units to continue to organize synchronous construction between items, not focusing on individual parts, and at the same time strictly control technical and artistic quality before acceptance.
The Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor noted that the project needs to be monitored after completion to assess quality before handover. Contractors must ensure labor safety, especially in the elevated construction area, install elevators, electrical systems; maintain hygiene in all completed areas and carefully review interior items such as sanitary equipment, kitchen cabinets, apartment doors, stairs.
Emphasizing the social security significance of the project, Mr. Le Van Nghia requested the construction units to determine that this is a project for workers, "must build social housing here like their own home", so that each apartment when handed over ensures quality, safety and meets the expectations of union members and workers.
