A solid support for union members
In the 5-year period (2020-2025), the Trade Union of Dien Bien Phu Medical Center (Dien Bien province) in its professional role has successfully completed the task of caring for and protecting people's health. In particular, during the complicated period of the COVID-19 epidemic, the Center has advised on the establishment of a Steering Committee, a Steering Committee for disease prevention and control and a COVID-19 patient treatment facility.
During this time, the unit has collected over 280,400 test samples, quarantined and monitored over 45,000 people, contributing to early detection, limiting the spread of the epidemic. In professional work, the Center also always exceeds medical targets.
The role of the Trade Union is clearly demonstrated in representing, caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of 231 union members of the Center. Accordingly, the Trade Union coordinated to ensure full and timely payment of salaries and allowances, and organized regular salary increases for 208 civil servants.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Dien Bien Phu Medical Center said that the Center always cares for and looks after the material and spiritual life of civil servants. The additional income of civil servants and employees in the following year is always higher than the previous year.
In particular, from 2020 to September 2025, the Trade Union has not had any petitions, complaints, or denunciations about the implementation of policies. From 2016 to present, the Center has not had any civil servants who have had work-related accidents or been exposed to occupational diseases.
The Trade Union of Dien Bien Phu Medical Center is also a pioneer in humanitarian and charity activities, mobilizing donations of over VND 864 million (2020 to August 2025) and maintaining free weekly porridge pots for patients.
With good achievements, the collective of the grassroots trade union has continuously achieved the title of "Excellent completion of tasks", and was awarded Certificates of Merit by the Provincial People's Committee and the Ministry of Health.
Creativity for businesses, welfare for workers
As a production and business unit, the Trade Union of Tam Duong Tea Development Investment Joint Stock Company, Lai Chau province (with 76 union members) always identifies accompanying the enterprise and practically caring for workers as a key task.
The trade union has coordinated with the government to launch emulation movements "Good workers, Creative workers". The highlight is the implementation of the program "75 thousand initiatives, overcoming difficulties, developing" and the program "1 million initiatives - efforts to overcome difficulties, creativity, determination to defeat the COVID-19 pandemic", with 25 grassroots initiatives and 4 initiatives recognized at the provincial level.
According to Ms. Bui Thi Kim Lieu - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Tam Duong Tea Development Investment Joint Stock Company, the income of workers is guaranteed to be stable at a high level. In which, indirect labor is from 7.5 - 9.5 million VND/month, direct labor is from 6.8 - 10 million VND/month. When there are many orders, the unit has mobilized workers to work overtime, but not more than 300 hours/year and increased the quality of shift meals.
Through the dialogue, there are more benefits for workers, typically: Raising the shift meal allowance to 25,000 VND/meal/person; spending on diligence for 26 working days or more from 500,000 VND - 1 million VND/person/month; supporting gasoline for workers working far away from 10km or more... In the period of 2020-2025, the Trade Union also organized visits and encouragement for union members in difficult circumstances, sick... with a total value of over 400 million VND. The activities of the "Green, Clean and Beautiful" movement, art, sports and women's work are maintained enthusiastically.
Thanks to its effective operation, the Trade Union of Tam Duong Tea Development Investment Joint Stock Company was honored to receive the Emulation Flag of Lai Chau Provincial People's Committee, the Emulation Flag of the Provincial Federation of Labor and many other Certificates of Merit.
