Before taking on the position of Deputy Head of Assembly and Factory Management Department, Ms. Nguyen Thi Dung always focused on promoting innovation activities, implementing creative ideas to increase productivity, reduce costs and waste of labor for workers, while improving production efficiency and product quality.
Since January 2021, as Deputy Head of the Assembly Department managing the workshop of more than 1,000 workers, Ms. Dung has promoted the work of achieving safety, quality and output according to the company's goals, while implementing activities to improve productivity and reduce costs. She has 5 outstanding initiatives, always aiming for dual goals: Improving labor efficiency and contributing to the sustainable development of businesses and society, such as improving product flow, innovating training areas and optimizing component supply methods.
Her innovative initiatives have a value of up to billions of VND and have been applied in 3 factories Thang Long, Que Vo, Tien Son. Most especially, perhaps, in the program "1 million initiatives, efforts to overcome difficulties, determination to defeat the COVID-19 pandemic", Ms. Dung has found a solution to automate the supply of components, combining optimal operations between people and machines. This improvement helps cut 300 indirect workers, saving more than 30 billion VND per year, while improving the flexibility of the line in the context of a strongly fluctuating global component market...
What is appreciated about Ms. Dung is that she directly guides, trains, and creates conditions for her subordinates to develop innovation ideas. With high efficiency, Ms. Dung was able to participate in a training course and became an internal lecturer of the Company for the course "Improving and innovating production". Since then, she has always shared knowledge and experience through annual courses organized by the Company.
In addition, she is also a lecturer in the department specializing in training soft skills for managers such as training courses on loss analysis, instructions on how to use people, management skills of line leaders, etc.
With the motto: Innovation is continuous and innovative thinking, open-minded spirit, Ms. Dung constantly learns, always takes the lead in all activities of the department and the company, promotes and encourages employees to propose innovative ideas and create a creative and effective working environment.
Always listen to union members' opinions
Not only achieving many titles in her expertise, for union work, as a union cadre, Ms. Dung always plays a good role as a representative and caregiver.
This is clearly demonstrated in her always listening to the opinions of union members and workers, grasping the thoughts and aspirations of cadres, workers and laborers in the workshop. Thereby advising the executive board on appropriate activities, meeting the needs of union members and workers as well as implementing policies; promoting activities to care for workers...
It seems that to achieve many titles in her expertise and be dedicated to union work, Ms. Dung has little time to take care of her family. But that was not the case. Ms. Dung has arranged scientific time to fulfill the duties of a child, a wife, and a mother. She and her husband organize a neat, clean place to live, take care of and teach their children to be obedient and good at studying. Her daughter graduated with honors in Mathematics from Hanoi National University of Education 2 and has strived to follow her parents' example and was nominated to join the Party gratitude class in 2022. The son has won the taekwondo championship for many consecutive years.
With her efforts, will to strive to rise up and awareness of herself for the collective, for the common good, always ready to share knowledge and guide the young generation, Ms. Dung has become a shining example in all aspects.
