On December 21, the Trade Union of Vard Vung Tau Company Limited (Dong Xuyen Industrial Park, Rach Dua Ward) held the 5th Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term. Also attending were representatives of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation and the Rach Dua Ward Labor Union.
Reporting at the congress, Vard Vung Tau Trade Union said that in the past term, there were many fluctuations and difficulties, but the unit focused on strengthening the organization; innovating methods of operation; enhancing the role of representing, caring for and protecting the rights of union members and workers; gradually meeting the requirements in the new situation.
The unit currently has more than 1,750 employees. Although there was a period of decline in orders, the enterprise tried to maintain stable jobs, without major labor cuts. At the same time, maintain stable wages and benefits for union members and workers.
In the new term, expected to continue to face the impacts and challenges, the unit has set out 7 key directions and tasks. At the same time, 16 targets are set for the 2025-2030 period such as: signing type B collective labor agreements or more; 100% of workers participate in trade unions; 100% of workers participate in classes to disseminate legal policies...
On this occasion, the congress also elected the Executive Committee of the Vard Vung Tau Trade Union for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 9 members.
