On December 6, the Trade Union of Khang An Food Joint Stock Company held its 3rd Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
Over the past term, the employment and living conditions of workers have always been stable and increasingly improved. The Executive Committee of the union participates with employers in effectively implementing activities to care for the lives of union members and workers, especially the implementation of welfare regimes.
In addition to the regimes and policies according to regulations, the Trade Union and the company also pay rewards to children of union members and employees with achievements in studying, giving gifts on the occasion of June 1, the Mid-Autumn Festival; supporting wedding money for couples working together in the company; visiting sick employees, those in difficult circumstances; attending funerals; supporting maternity, giving gifts to women on International Women's Day,... with a total amount of about 2.35 billion VND.
Since the beginning of the term, the company's Trade Union has developed 230 new union members; arranged 9 union groups. Inspection and supervision work is guaranteed according to regulations.
The grassroots trade union widely and comprehensively deploys the emulation movement "Innovation, creativity, efficiency" to promote initiatives and improve working style to improve productivity - quality - efficiency, create jobs, increase income, and improve the lives of union members and employees.
Speaking at the congress, Ms. Le Thi Suong Mai - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL), Member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City, President of the Can Tho City Labor Federation - acknowledged and commended the spirit of effort, solidarity, proactiveness and creativity of the Khang An Food Joint Stock Company Trade Union with many outstanding results.
In the new term, the Chairman of the Can Tho City Labor Federation suggested that the Trade Union focus on better caring for the material and spiritual lives of union members and employees; Continue to improve the quality of negotiation - dialogue, update more beneficial contents in the agreement.
The unit needs to strongly innovate propaganda work, apply digital technology to approach quickly and effectively; Improve the skills of union officials; Strengthen emulation movements associated with productivity improvement, technical improvement, energy saving; Closely coordinate with the company's leaders in the strategy of human resource development, retaining skilled workers, building a modern corporate culture.
