On June 20, speaking at the Conference of Advanced Types of Vietnam Tobacco Corporation, Mr. Ha Quang Hoa - General Director of the Corporation said that through emulation movements, there have been 963 technical innovation initiatives with a value of over 83 billion VND.
With the motto: " issue productivity - Quality - Efficiency is the existence and development of businesses", in recent years, under the direction of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors and the Trade Union of the Corporation, patriotic emulation movements have been implemented proactively, flexibly and creatively. The emulation movement has become an important driving force, arousing and promoting the spirit of dynamism and creativity in production and business.
During this period, the Corporation has promoted proactiveness and flexibility in organizing and implementing the movement, in accordance with the characteristics of each field, area and production and business model. Many emulation movements focus on technological innovation, improving labor productivity, reducing costs, ensuring labor safety, while focusing on taking care of the lives and health of workers.
The movements were carried out through programs such as: "Good workers, creative workers, promoting technical innovation initiatives"; "Practice thrift, fight waste" associated with "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style", helping to save 1,069 billion VND (in production, business and basic construction investment). In addition, there are movements such as: "Cadres, workers, and laborers strive to overcome difficulties, be creative, and determined to defeat the COVID-19 pandemic"; the " use of gratitude and responsibility" movement, "Eliminate hunger and reduce poverty", "S contributing to building new rural areas" ... Thereby, the Corporation has built and donated 226 gratitude houses, 225 charity houses, and solidarity houses, with a total implementation amount of more than 216 billion VND.
Emulation movements were implemented in accordance with the reality of each unit, and were actively responded to by a large number of cadres, employees, and laborers, contributing to the successful completion of production and business tasks of each unit and the entire Corporation.
From practical implementation, the Corporation has drawn many lessons in leadership and direction of emulation movements as well as innovating emulation and reward work. In particular, it is noteworthy to regularly focus on disseminating and thoroughly grasping the Party's guidelines, the State's policies and laws on emulation and reward; organizing emulation movements must closely follow the political tasks of the unit, ensuring practicality, focus and key points. At the same time, it is necessary to focus on building and replicating advanced models to encourage and attract a large number of workers to participate.
In the 2025-2030 period, Vietnam Tobacco Corporation will continue to identify emulation and reward work as one of the key tasks. The unit will promote the organization of emulation movements associated with the implementation of development strategies; strive to complete and exceed production and business plan targets, increase income and ensure the lives of workers.
In addition, the Corporation also pays special attention to training and fostering the team of staff working in emulation and reward work; promoting the application of science and technology, digital transformation in document management, reward processes, contributing to improving efficiency and transparency in this work.
