At the beginning of the year, the Group Party Committee issued Directive 955-CT/DU on "Continuing to promote female cadre work in the new period", concretizing Directive 21-CT/TW of the Secretariat.
Propaganda work on gender equality has been diversely implemented through seminars, seminars, internal communication campaigns, law contests, charity programs, etc. Thereby, the awareness of the role of women in businesses has been raised, creating a civilized and equal working environment.
The female ratio in the Executive Committee of the Group Party Committee reached 8.1%; the Executive Committee of the Trade Union reached 21.87%; the Executive Committee of the Youth Union reached 26.92% - showing efforts to eliminate gender barriers and promote the potential of women in the energy industry.
Speaking at the conference, Deputy General Director Do Chi Thanh emphasized: 2025 opens a new development stage, affirming Petrovietnam's strategic vision in the journey to become a leading energy group in the region. Developing high-quality human resources, including female staff, is a key factor.

Currently, female workers account for nearly 25% (more than 15,000 people) of the total number of employees of the Group, holding many important positions. Many women have become the core of the movements "Good at public affairs, good at housework", "Women actively study, work creatively, build happy families".
Mr. Do Chi Thanh suggested that the entire Group continue to effectively implement Directive 955-CT/dyU, promote the role of the Committee for the advancement of women and socio-political organizations in promoting gender equality; at the same time, increase training and appointment of female staff, encourage participation in courses on digital technology, foreign languages, governance skills, AI application, etc.
Petrovietnam will continue to review and integrate gender equality content into regulations, taking care of the legitimate rights of female workers, especially women working in special environments and difficult circumstances.
I call on all Petrovietnam women to promote their courage, intelligence, and creativity; turn pride into concrete actions with productivity, initiative, solidarity, and aspiration to contribute Mr. Thanh emphasized.

At the program, the Group's Trade Union launched a campaign to support people in disaster areas and organized the Petrovietnam Women's Forum.
