On the afternoon of October 23, Tien Yen Commune Trade Union held its 1st Congress, term 2025-2030.
Attending and directing the Congress were Ms. Hoang Thi Hong Phan, Vice President of the Provincial Labor Federation; Mr. Nguyen Cao Khai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tien Yen commune.
After implementing the arrangement of administrative units according to the two-level local government model, the Tien Yen Commune Trade Union manages 40 grassroots trade unions, with a total of 1,431 union members.
During the past term, despite many difficulties, the Tien Yen Commune Trade Union has made efforts to fulfill its role as a representative, caretaker, and defender the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers.
In the period of 2023 - 2024, the predecessor units, the Labor Federation of Tien Yen district, Ba Che district, Binh Lieu district, presented 1,600 gifts, worth more than 1 billion VND to union members in difficult circumstances; requested the Provincial Labor Federation to support the construction and repair of 11 "Union Shelters" worth 268 million VND.
Speaking at the Congress, Ms. Hoang Thi Hong Phan, Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor, acknowledged and commended the achievements of the Tien Yen Commune Trade Union, and at the same time requested the unit to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, apply information technology and comprehensive digital transformation in union member management, finance, and communication; improve professional skills for workers, contributing to building a strong, professional and effective trade union organization.
At the Congress, the Standing Committee of the Quang Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor announced the decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Chairman and Inspection Committee of the Tien Yen Commune Trade Union, term I, 2025-2030.
Ms. Hoang Thi Mai was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Tien Yen Commune Trade Union, term I, 20252030.
