Paying social insurance for at least 15 years can receive pension
The policy of paying social insurance for at least 15 years to be eligible for pension is mentioned in the Law on Social Insurance 2024 (replacing the Law on Social Insurance 2014), effective from July 1, 2025.
Specifically, the subjects specified in Points a, b, c, g, h, i, k, l, m and n, Clause 1 and Clause 2, Article 2 of the Law on Social Insurance 2024, when on leave with a period of compulsory social insurance payment of 15 years or more, are entitled to receive pension if they fall into one of the following cases:
- Meeting the retirement age as prescribed in Clause 2, Article 169 of the Labor Code;
- Meeting the retirement age prescribed in Clause 3, Article 169 of the Labor Code and having a total period of compulsory social insurance payment of 15 years or more when working in a heavy, toxic, dangerous or especially heavy, toxic, dangerous job or job on the list of heavy, toxic, dangerous or especially heavy, toxic, dangerous jobs or jobs issued by the Minister of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs or working in areas with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions, including working time in places with regional allowance coefficient of 0.7 or higher before January 1, 2021;
- Have a maximum age of 10 years lower than the age specified in Clause 2, Article 169 of the Labor Code and have worked in underground coal mining for 15 years or more as prescribed by the Government;
- People infected with HIV/AIDS due to occupational accidents while performing assigned tasks.
Principles of labor management, wages, remuneration, bonuses for Financial Funds, Financial Organizations
From July 15, 2025, Circular 07/2025/TT-BNV guiding the implementation of labor management, wages, remunerations, and bonuses for organizations as prescribed in Clause 5 and Clause 8, Article 34 of Decree 44/2025/ND-CP regulating labor management, wages, remunerations, and bonuses in state-owned enterprises issued by the Minister of Home Affairs, will take effect.
Policy on salaries and special allowances for employees in core defense industry and core security industry
From July 1, 2025, Decree 103/2025/ND-CP stipulates policies for core defense industrial facilities, core security industrial facilities and regimes and policies for employees in core defense industrial facilities, core security industrial facilities, and begins to take effect.
