Taking advantage of fanpages in propaganda for workers

Kiều Vũ |

During Workers' Month 2025, the city's trade unions at all levels had 436 news articles posted on the Facebook page "Hanoi Trade Union". Thereby, 55,768 people accessed information. The number of interactions with the page is nearly 12,000. The grassroots trade union has posted nearly 3,500 information, articles, and photos, reaching hundreds of thousands of people. The news and livestreams have reached a large number of workers, especially focusing on union members and workers in industrial parks and export processing zones. In particular, hundreds of workers have asked about and asked for legal advice on salary and bonus regimes, holidays, overtime regimes, shift meals for workers, and sick leave regimes for social insurance benefits via the Facebook page "Hanoi Trade Union".

Mr. Nguyen Van Minh, a worker in Thach That Industrial Park, said that thanks to the Facebook page "Hanoi Trade Union" and the Facebook page of the Hanoi Industrial Parks Trade Union, he learned about many current events, including the merger of localities in Hanoi. Thereby, Mr. Minh and many other workers correctly understand this policy...

Currently, the Capital Trade Union at all levels is using more than 4,000 Zalo groups with over 350,000 participants to promptly guide and exchange the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws. In reality, this is a very effective communication channel for workers and civil servants. During Workers' Month 2025, the grassroots trade union directly above the grassroots level promoted through 305 articles in newspapers, 670 articles on social networks, reaching 31,837 visits and interactions via social networks. The grassroots trade union has promoted through 1,132 articles in newspapers, 6,834 articles on social networks, reaching 350,052 visits and interactions via social networks. The Hanoi City Labor Federation also published the book "Union Newsletter" with 10,700 copies distributed to members of the Executive Committee, members of the City Union Inspection Committee and direct superior unions, and grassroots unions in the entire capital union system... Statistics show that 100% of district, town, and city labor unions, industry unions, and grassroots unions regularly organize written propaganda, through the media system and through the internet and social networks about the viewpoints, policies, major orientations, results of the innovation process, content and methods of operation of the union organization. There are over 3,200 newsletters at the grassroots trade union, 2,868 loudspeakers at enterprises.

It can be seen that the use of information technology in communication, propaganda and education of union members and workers of the Hanoi Trade Union is on the right track and promoting its strengths. This is also the concretization of digital transformation implementation in union activities. However, it is also necessary to see that the good way of the Hanoi Trade Union is to coordinate smoothly between forms of propaganda to suit the reality as well as the needs of workers.
