On June 22, the Vietnam Science and Technology Trade Union announced that at the launching ceremony of Workers' Month and Month of Action on Labor Safety and Hygiene in 2025, the Industry Trade Union will give 450 shopping vouchers (worth VND 300,000/voucher) to 450 union members; give 20 gifts (worth VND 1,500,000/voucher) to union members in difficult circumstances.
The industry trade union also coordinated with Vietnam Post Corporation to launch the "Workers' Market" on the Vietnam Post Corporation e-commerce platform; organize booths to display products at the "Workers' Market" to serve the shopping and experience needs of visitors. Items at the market such as rice, cooking oil, agricultural products... with discounts for union members and workers up to 50%.
Also during Workers' Month, the Vietnam Science and Technology Trade Union organized the "May Dialogue" Program and the "Party with Workers - Workers with the Party" Forum. Accordingly, trade unions at all levels advise, propose, and coordinate to organize so that heads of Party committees at the same level and employers can contact and dialogue with union members and workers in accordance with actual conditions. Based on the actual situation at the unit, the grassroots trade union has closely coordinated with the professional organization to organize meetings and dialogues with union members and workers in appropriate and practical forms...
The "Thank you to workers" program, based on the proposal of affiliated trade unions, the Vietnam Science and Technology Trade Union has supported union members and workers in difficult circumstances with VND 298 million on the occasion of Workers' Month; affiliated trade unions coordinated with professionals to organize activities to care for, support, and show gratitude to union members and workers ( visits, gifts, shopping vouchers; commend union members and workers for their efforts to overcome difficulties and outstanding examples)... In addition, units proactively used the unit's funding to organize sightseeing, vacations, meeting workers' families, cultural and sports festivals, supporting shift meals...
