Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ngo Duy Hieu attended the training course and delivered the opening speech.
Nearly 150 Vice Presidents of Provincial and Municipal Labor Federations, Central Industry Trade Unions and Deputy Heads of Departments and Units under the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor... attended the training course.
Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor - assessed that in the past time, the Trade Unions at all levels have actively promoted and organized the implementation of the Resolution, achieving some results, but there are still some contents that need to be thoroughly grasped and oriented to unify awareness and action to improve the effectiveness of task implementation.
According to Vice President Ngo Duy Hieu, one of the important tasks set by the 13th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor is to fundamentally innovate the program, content, curriculum, and training methods for trade union officials in the direction of standardization, scientific practice, unity, and creativity. This includes the development and implementation of a training program for key officials, updating new knowledge for key officials at all levels of the trade union.
"Trainees need to raise awareness, focus and be serious during the training course so that we can achieve the best results" - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ngo Duy Hieu emphasized.
The training course was held for 3 days with 10 topics. The topics included: "Thinking, vision and skills of trade union officials in the new context", "New context and issues for the Vietnam Trade Union", "Skills in directing the work of representing and protecting the rights of workers", "Skills in directing propaganda work in the new context", "Skills in directing the work of inspecting and supervising trade unions", "Skills in directing women's trade union work", "Skills in directing trade union finance work", "Bidding work", "Security situation among workers and the task of building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in enterprises", "Organizational work, trade union officials".
Directly conveying the topics are leaders of central ministries, departments, branches, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, and experienced experts with deep understanding of the organization and operation of Trade Unions.
