On the afternoon of January 10, in Vinh Te ward, the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation (LDLD) and the branch of KVY Vietnam Joint Stock Company - MerPerle Nui Sam Resort organized a ceremony to announce the Decision to establish the company's grassroots Trade Union (CDCS) and admit union members.
Accordingly, the ceremony announced the decision to establish the grassroots trade union branch of KVY Vietnam - MerPerle Nui Sam Resort Joint Stock Company, the Decision to appoint the Executive Committee, the Inspection Committee, key positions and admit 35 trade union members.
At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Vi, Director of the Company's branch, said: the establishment of the Company's Branch Trade Union is an important event, marking a new step in caring for the material and spiritual life and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of employees (NLD). This is not only the aspiration of the collective of employees but also shows the concern, support and strong commitment of the Company's Branch Leadership in building a stable, harmonious and sustainable working environment.
On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Company's Branch, I commit to always creating favorable conditions for grassroots trade unions to operate in accordance with their functions and promote their roles in accordance with the law and the Charter of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour. We believe that the Executive Committee of the Company's Branch Trade Union will promote the spirit of responsibility, democracy, objectivity, and accompany the Company's Branch in successfully implementing the production and business tasks set out," Mr. Vi emphasized.
Mr. Lam Vi Khang - Chairman of the grassroots trade union branch of the Company said: "We believe that with the attention and direction of the Provincial Labor Federation, leaders of the Party Committee, government, local Trade Union, support, creating all conditions from the Board of Directors of the Company Branch, the consensus of all union members, the Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union will complete and perform well the assigned responsibilities and tasks, worthy of being the representative of workers at the Company. The grassroots trade union will gradually grow, be stronger and develop more.
Speaking to direct at the announcement ceremony, Chairman of An Giang Provincial Labor Federation Do Tran Thinh said: "Today's announcement shows the concern of business leaders for Trade Union activities. Thereby seeing the important meaning, meeting the thoughts and aspirations of employees, through the Trade Union organization to gather, attract, and encourage employees to actively participate in emulation movements in the company's service business activities. From there, accompanying and contributing to promoting the overall development of the Company, together with the Company taking care of the material and spiritual life of union members and employees. Thereby helping union members and employees see that the Trade Union organization is truly a fulcrum for union members at the grassroots level.
