Attending the conference were Mr. Luong Xuan Truong - Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation; Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Phuong - Director of Lai Chau Tea Joint Stock Company; and trade union members of the Company.
At the conference, Mr. Luong Xuan Truong - Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation awarded decisions to establish grassroots trade unions and admit 16 grassroots trade union members of Lai Chau Tea Joint Stock Company. Mr. Nguyen Van Ty was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Company's grassroots trade union.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Luong Xuan Truong - Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation affirmed that the establishment of grassroots trade unions is an important turning point, meeting the aspirations of workers.
The Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation also requested the Executive Committee of the Grassroots Trade Union to focus on 3 key tasks including: Promoting propaganda of laws and Trade Union Charters; proactively supervising the implementation of regimes on salaries, social insurance, and health insurance to protect workers' rights; and at the same time launching practical emulation movements, accompanying the company's growth.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Phuong - Director of the Company also committed to creating conditions in all aspects for the Company's grassroots trade union to operate with the highest efficiency and requested the Company's Trade Union Executive Committee to proactively develop an annual work plan and Trade Union operating regulations.
