A great friend of workers
Over the years, Mr. Nguyen Huu Quang (born in 1986, Chairman of the Trade Union of Sakurai Vietnam Co., Ltd.) has been known as a typical trade union cadre, outstanding in activities and the workers' movement. Not only effectively advising the Executive Board of the Company's Trade Union in concretizing the resolutions of the Party and trade unions at all levels, he also proactively develops and implements monthly, quarterly and annual work plans in a systematic manner.
Under his leadership, the company's trade union has promptly supplemented many important regulations in line with the reality of FDI enterprises; built more beneficial collective labor agreements for employees; and strengthened the harmonious coordination relationship between the Trade Union Executive Committee and the Company's Board of Directors.
Not only is he the head of the company's union, Mr. Quang is also a "big friend" of the workers. In 2024, the company's trade union visited and supported more than 1,400 workers in difficult circumstances and work-related accidents, with gifts ranging from 500,000 to 3 million VND/person; supported people in the northern provinces affected by Typhoon Yagi with nearly 400 million VND. Many welfare regimes are also adjusted to benefit employees such as: Increasing shift allowances, support for raising young children, foreign language allowances, accommodation, gasoline and 13th month salary bonus.
Sakurai Company's Trade Union under the management of Mr. Nguyen Huu Quang is truly a cultural - social center in the enterprise. Sports movements such as football, tug of war, art, fashion contests to gift giving programs, free vehicle oil changes, signing with banks to lend workers to fight against illegal credit... are all carefully organized, attracting thousands of workers to participate.
His two initiatives in 2022 and 2023 - on the method of organizing trade union movements and installing personal wardrobes to return lost items - were both recognized and rewarded by the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor. These are not only technical initiatives but also demonstrate understanding of the spiritual life and simple but practical needs of workers.
Continuously creative
In addition to professional work, Mr. Quang also does a good job of charity and social work. In 2024, he mobilized union members to contribute more than 320 million VND to the "Union Shelter" Fund, organized many donations to help workers in difficulty and serious illnesses with hundreds of millions of VND mobilized and given directly to those in need of support.
According to Mr. Quang, one of the very meaningful programs being implemented by the Board of Directors and the Company's Trade Union is to organize a gratitude party for workers on the occasion of Workers' Month 2025. The party was held at a luxurious event center, with nearly 13,000 workers attending. The parties are arranged every Sunday, starting from May 18, 2025 to the end of July 2025.
With his contributions and contributions, Mr. Nguyen Huu Quang, as an experienced and passionate "captain", has been steering the organization of the Sakurai Vietnam Company Trade Union through challenging development stages but also brilliant achievements - where workers are always placed at the center of attention and each achievement bears the mark of service spirit, innovation and profound humanity.
Thanks to his tireless efforts and many outstanding achievements in work and trade union activities, Mr. Nguyen Huu Quang has been awarded many Certificates of Merit by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province and the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor.
