After 8 years of being associated with union members and workers as Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Viet Thuan Garment Company Limited, Ms. Tran Thi Hue is known to have made many contributions and inspired in trade union work.

Always concerned about the rights of union members and workers

Ms. Tran Thi Hue has worked at Viet Thuan Garment Company Limited (Hoa Xa Industrial Park, Nam Dinh City) since 2016, and since 2017, she has held the role of grassroots union chairwoman (CDCS) until now.

Ms. Hue said that currently, Viet Thuan Garment Company Limited has more than 2,000 employees, of which up to 80% are female workers. To make workers and laborers feel secure in their work and stay with the company for a long time, especially female workers, she and the union staff proposed to the company's leaders many welfare agreements for workers.

As a union president, Ms. Hue always wondered how to take good care of the material and spiritual life of workers. Among them, it is necessary to mention the activities of the "Viet Thuan Heart" Club, which Ms. Hue requested to organize and establish.

Our Viet Thuan Heart Club was established in 2023, with 14 members, with the purpose of caring for and paying close attention to union members and workers. To maintain the club's operations, we have asked the company's board of directors to open an ice cream counter at the restaurant. The interest will be used to give gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances in the company" - Ms. Hue shared.

In 8 years with the union work, Ms. Hue is famous as the "captain" to initiate all movements of the company. Up to now, the company's union organization is growing stronger, 100% of the employees of the company have participated in trade unions. The life of union members and workers is constantly being raised, all the treatment regimes from the holidays, New Year, sickness, illness, maternity ... are always concerned by the company's union. In addition, every year the Trade Union will organize programs to create a playground, operate for workers and workers such as tea cooking competitions, flower arrangements on 8.3; Banh chung package program on Tet holiday; Viet Thuan's car awarded Christmas gifts to union members; organize monthly birthdays for employees; Art contest; Program to take care of workers ...
