More than 20 practical initiatives
Originating from his passion for programming and desire to make practical contributions to the company, Mr. Thien constantly explores and proposes initiatives to improve labor productivity and work efficiency.
When assigned a professional support task, I often observe processes, listen to opinions from colleagues and ask myself, Is there any better way? Why do we have to enter data or do a repetitive job every week, every month?... It is the combination of passion for programming, responsibility with work and the desire to bring value to the business that motivated me to implement these initiatives - Mr. Thien said.
After 10 years of working at the unit, Mr. Thien has had more than 20 initiatives recognized by the company and applied them with practical results. Image safety management and "customer branch" software on mobile devices are the two initiatives that Mr. Thien is most passionate about.
TheI recorded Safety Management Initiative has been received and further developed by the Corporation to be implemented for 21 power companies. Thanks to this initiative, employees operating on the field and managers at the company can interact with each other using images operating on the field, ensuring safer work.
The "customer branch" software on mobile devices connects customer data and the power grid system, helping employees exploit information, find routes, contact customers to serve the work of recording power indexes, repairing and maintaining the power grid on a digital map. The software was honored and rewarded by Vietnam Electricity Group at the "Emulation Movement of 10 Initiatives" conference and is being used at 21 Power Companies with more than 3,000 users.
To implement these initiatives, Mr. Thien said that he encountered many difficulties due to lack of initial experience and limited time and resources. However, thanks to the company's leaders creating conditions, cooperation from colleagues and the spirit of proactively exploring, consulting opinions, and boldly exchanging, Mr. Thien has gradually overcome difficulties and achieved the expected results.
Developing in the integration trend
With practical and effective initiatives, Mr. Thien has repeatedly achieved the title of Emulation Fighter, been awarded by the company and especially the Creative Labor Certificate of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in 2023.
According to Mr. Thien, it is an honor and pride to be recognized for his tireless efforts. This is a great motivation for him to continue trying. "It not only affirms the value of my work but also reminds me to always keep a creative and responsible spirit to be worthy of everyone's trust" - Mr. Thien said.
Recognizing that skills and qualifications are key factors for workers to compete and develop in the integration trend, Mr. Thien has made a plan for himself to participate in training courses and professional seminars to improve skills as well as actively learn from colleagues and leaders.
I will continue to maintain, promote and propose new initiatives, focusing on improving processes and applying technology to meet the company's development needs, the male expert shared.
Not only stopping at self-development, Mr. Thien also participates in activities launched by the Trade Union, contributes ideas to build organizations and supports colleagues when needed. Thereby, contributing to building a strong and united team, helping the company develop more and more.
