According to the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor, as of the end of October 2024, there were 37 FDI companies in the area, with a total workforce of more than 169,000 people.

Recently, 30/37 enterprises organized overtime in some departments. Specifically, 15/30 enterprises organized overtime from 0.5 hours to 1.5 hours/day and 15 enterprises organized overtime from 2-4 hours on some days of the week.

100% of enterprises have paid salaries, meal allowances, attendance allowances, fuel allowances and other allowances to workers on time. There are 5 enterprises that increased meal allowances such as: TMVT Production Company Limited (increased from 20,000 VND to 25,000 VND); Ny Hoa Viet Company Limited (increased from 16,500 VND to 20,000 VND); Kim Viet Vietnam Shoes Company Limited (increased from 20,000 VND to 22,000 VND); Appareltech Vinh Loc Export Garment Company Limited (increased from 15,000 VND to 22,000 VND); Polywell Creation Ltd. Company Limited (increased from 15,000 VND to 20,000 VND) and increased fuel allowance from 200,000 VND/month to 250,000 VND/month.

100% of companies have paid social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance to the social insurance agency on time and paid full monthly sickness and maternity benefits to employees. The total number of employees of the enterprises who have paid social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance is more than 161,000 people (reaching a rate of 95.1%), the remaining number is more than 8,200 people, because they have just joined the company. The average income of employees in September and October 2024 is more than 7.8 million VND/person/month.

Activities in recent months have been very exciting, the grassroots trade union has organized many cultural - artistic and sports activities to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2024), the 78th anniversary of the founding of the Thanh Hoa Trade Union (October 10, 1946 - October 10, 2024), and the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2024).

In addition, grassroots unions continue to coordinate with businesses to visit and give gifts to workers in especially difficult circumstances, with gifts ranging from 500,000 VND to 2 million VND/person. In particular, regularly visit and encourage workers in especially difficult circumstances, sick, or in accidents. "Through these activities, the spirit of solidarity, sharing has been spread, creating a joyful atmosphere among workers" - Mr. Quang shared.

According to the Thanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor, in the coming time, especially before the Lunar New Year 2025, the unit will implement plans, organize many activities, and at the same time direct grassroots unions and direct grassroots unions to mobilize all resources, implement welfare regimes, and take good care of union members and workers.
