As of mid-2025, the whole Thanh Hoa province has 398,540 workers, civil servants, and laborers (CNVCLD); of which, the number of union members reached 388,156 people, an increase of more than 48,000 people over the same period in 2024.
Regarding employment and living, the majority of workers have stable jobs, many FDI enterprises have signed orders until the end of 2025 and are still maintaining overtime. However, some small businesses still face difficulties due to reduced orders, increased input costs, affecting jobs and income of workers.
Average income reaches 7.67 million VND/month in the administrative and career sector; 5.94 million VND/month in the State-owned enterprise sector; 6.76 million VND/month in the FDI enterprise sector and 5.83 million VND/month in the private enterprise sector.
In the first 6 months of the year, the whole province had 3 work accidents (including 1 traffic accident counted as a work accident). In addition, there were 15 collective work stoppages with 32,898 workers participating and 2 cases with signs of work stoppages involving 14,558 workers.
