Welstory Vietnam Limited Liability Company (VSIP Bac Ninh II Industrial Park) is a company specializing in providing meals for employees in and outside Bac Ninh province, with a quantity of about 250,000 meals per day. On July 2, this enterprise signed a contract to consume 11.2 tons of Bac Ninh seaweed.
Similarly, Goertek Vina Science and Technology Limited Liability Company (Nam Son-Hap Linh Industrial Park) also registered to buy 86 tons of Bac Ninh seaweed.
The batches of seaweed have been brought to the enterprise and stored in a refrigerator to ensure quality before being delivered to workers. Buying seaweed for meals and giving to workers not only helps people consume agricultural products but also shows the concern and encouragement of the company's workers.
The application of seaweed in industrial parks (IPs) aims to support farmers' agricultural product consumption in accordance with the direction of Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province Vuong Quoc Tuan at the first thematic meeting of the new Bac Ninh province on June 30, 2025.
The Management Board of Industrial Parks of Bac Ninh province has coordinated with the Department of Industry and Trade of Bac Ninh and enterprises and cooperatives to supply seaweed to include in the meals of workers.

According to the Management Board of Industrial Parks of Bac Ninh province, in just 2 days (July 1 and 2), the program has connected consumption, bringing more than 100 tons of seaweed to businesses in industrial parks in the province.
In addition to the two enterprises mentioned above, other FDI enterprises such as Fushan Company in VSIP Industrial Park, Canon Company in Tien Son Industrial Park, Sungoo Vina Company (Thuan Thanh 3 Industrial Park) also registered to buy a total of dozens of tons of seaweed. Samsung is negotiating with suppliers to open a sales point at the company for workers.
Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province Pham Van Thinh emphasized the spirit of social responsibility of enterprises in accompanying farmers in consuming agricultural products; affirmed that this is a practical and effective way to promote the Bac Ninh seaweed brand - a typical product of the Vietnamese agricultural sector.
Mr. Thinh highly appreciated the positive and responsible response of businesses, suggesting that businesses in industrial parks continue to spread this model to support agricultural product consumption and improve the quality of workers' meals.
In 2025, the output of seaweed in Bac Ninh province is estimated to reach 210 thousand tons. Short harvest time, large output, finding stable and quick output are urgent requirements.
The Department of Industry and Trade of Bac Ninh province said that by July 2, 2025, Bac Ninh province had consumed more than 152,000 tons of seaweed, of which the domestic market was nearly 102,000 tons, exporting more than 50,000 tons.
