After finishing the visit and giving gifts to cadres, workers, civil servants and laborers in Lao Cai province, on the afternoon of September 14, the working delegation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor led by Mr. Phan Van Anh - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor continued to be present in Yen Bai to present gifts to support union members, workers and civil servants.
According to Mr. Phan Van Anh, the amount of 2 billion VND to support cadres, workers, civil servants and laborers shows the concern and sharing of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor with cadres, workers, civil servants and laborers in areas affected by natural disasters in Yen Bai province.
Mr. Phan Van Anh also shared that, in addition to the 2 billion VND in support given today, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor will continue to review and research to support union members and workers in Yen Bai province so that union members can stabilize their lives and feel secure in their work.
By the end of September 14, the Yen Bai Provincial Support Mobilization Committee had received and registered support from 482 domestic and foreign groups and individuals for a total amount of more than 63 billion VND, of which more than 50.5 billion VND had been received.
In addition, it received goods from 121 delegations including essential necessities. The Vietnam Fatherland Front of Yen Bai province has transferred 98% of the above goods to districts and cities.
The kindness of organizations and individuals coming to Yen Bai province has shown the spirit of "sharing food and clothes", helping each other in times of hardship and difficulty; contributing to helping Yen Bai province have more motivation to overcome the consequences of natural disasters and soon stabilize life.
