A source from the District 11 Labor Federation, Ho Chi Minh City on June 11 said that the unit has just awarded 90 Nguyen Duc Canh scholarships for the 2025 - 2026 school year to children of employees in difficult circumstances who are studying hard.
Including 23 scholarships for primary school students, worth 1.5 million VND/scholarship; 32 scholarships for secondary school students, worth 1.8 million VND/scholarship; 25 scholarships for high school students, worth 2 million VND/scholarship and 10 scholarships for students studying at university, worth 4 million VND/scholarship.
The total amount of scholarships awarded by the District 11 Labor Federation is 182.1 million VND.
The District 11 Labor Federation also presented 30 special support packages (worth 1 million VND/person) to 22 workers of District 11 Public Service Company Limited and 8 contract employees at the District 11 Labor Culture House.
These are workers who have lost their jobs due to the impact of economic fluctuations and the implementation of Ho Chi Minh City's general policy in restructuring the apparatus.
