On April 15, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Mang Yang district (Gia Lai province) coordinated with the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dak Trai commune to organize the handover of 3 Great Unity houses to poor households with housing difficulties in Dak bet village.
Accordingly, the house handed over to Mr. Tuinh's family was built in the traditional Bahnar stilt house style, with pillars and floors made of wood, corrugated iron roof, corrugated iron walls. The remaining 2 houses were handed over to the families of Ms. Hlaih and Thuot, with built walls, corrugated iron roofs, and flower tiled floor.
Each house has an area of 36m2; The total construction cost is VND 70-84 million/unit. In particular, the "For the Poor" Fund of the province supports each house of VND 50 million (from the funding of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group); The "For the Poor" Mang Yang District Fund supports VND 10 million/unit; The rest is contributed by the family.
At the end of March 2025, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of O Mon District to organize a handover ceremony of 20 Great Solidarity houses to households with housing difficulties in O Mon District and Thoi Lai District.
At the ceremony, leaders at all levels and representatives of the sponsor presented the decision to donate houses and gifts to beneficiary households. Each house is supported by the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group with 50 million VND.
Speaking at the handover ceremony, the leader of the Can Tho City Fatherland Front Committee emphasized: The project to build the Great Unity House has profound political and humanitarian significance, helping households to be supported to have stable housing, to work and produce with peace of mind.
This is also a practical activity contributing to join hands with the city to effectively implement the emulation movement "Join hands to erase temporary houses, dilapidated houses in the city in 2025" and the campaign of the entire people to participate in "Building new rural areas, civilized cities", thereby contributing to the socio -economic development in the locality and the city.
The leaders of the Can Tho City Fatherland Front Committee hope that members of each family will constantly strive and encourage each other with the determination to develop the economy to escape poverty sustainably; at the same time, always pay attention to maintaining a spacious, clean house for long-term use, as a foundation for stabilizing life, taking care of children's education, and improving their lives.
