On March 16, a working delegation of the Can Tho City Labor Federation led by Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tan - Vice Chairman of the City Labor Federation visited, worked and presented 2 "Union Shelters" to union members in difficult circumstances of the Dien Bien Provincial Labor Federation with a total amount of 100 million VND.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tan hopes that these shelters will help union members and their families have a spacious place to live, adding motivation for them to rise up in life. In the coming time, the Trade Union organizations of the two provinces will continue to have exchange and support activities, together building an increasingly developed workers' movement.
Mr. Tan Minh Long - Chairman of the Dien Bien Provincial Federation of Labor, expressed his gratitude to the Can Tho City Federation of Labor and all cadres, union members, workers and civil servants of the province for their attention, sharing and valuable support for union members and workers in difficult circumstances in the province.
At the meeting, representatives of the two units informed the results of the outstanding activities of the two units in recent times and shared experiences in caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers.
In particular, the two sides discussed effective union model activities, solutions to improve the material and spiritual life of workers, as well as experience in organizing patriotic emulation movements, building a strong union organization.
