The Government issued Decree 184/2025/ND-CP dated July 1, 2025, regulating the division of authority when organizing local governments at 2 levels and amending the Decree in the field of security and order.
Accordingly, amending and supplementing Clause 1, Article 5 of Decree 42/2021/ND-CP regulating the working relationship of the regular Commune Police as follows:
The Commune Police Chief is under the direct command and management of the Provincial Police Director on the work of ensuring security, order and building the Commune Police force.
Previously, Clause 1, Article 5 of Decree 42/2021/ND-CP stipulated as follows:
The Commune Police Chief is under the direct command and management of the District Police Chief on the work of ensuring security, order and building the Commune Police force.
Thus, with the organization of a two-level local government, the Commune Police Chief will be directly commanded and managed by the Provincial Police Director on the work of ensuring security, order and building the Commune Police force.
