The training course was held on June 28 at the Hall of Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics -UEH Mekong, Vinh Long. This event is part of the plan to deploy the "digital education program" movement of Vinh Long province.
Ms. Dao Hong Hanh - Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Vinh Long province said that the main purpose of the course is to raise awareness and equip knowledge and basic skills on the application of AI and digital civil service in administrative work, operation and provision of public services.
The training content is designed to be simple, easy to understand, practical and highly applicable, ensuring that 100% of cadres, civil servants and public employees can exploit digital technology and AI in an official and safe way after the course.

The participants are very diverse, including commune-level People's Committee officials; leaders of schools, departments, offices, professional units, socio-political organizations and mass information agencies in the province. The course is organized into 02 classes, expected to attract a total of about 600 students.
According to Ms. Hanh, the training program has gone into many important parts such as basic knowledge of digital transformation, digital skills, overview of AI and applications in state management, especially how to apply AI in administrative management and public services. Issues of automation and data security were also mentioned, along with a vibrant discussion and discussion section.
Associate Professor. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, an expert with more than 12 years of experience in the field of data science and artificial intelligence, is the main lecturer of the course.
"This training course aims to promote digital transformation in state administrative agencies and public service units in a practical and effective manner, in line with the development orientation of Vinh Long province," Ms. Hanh added.
