The Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee has just announced a list of appointments of Secretaries, Chairmen of People's Councils and People's Committees of 35 new communes and wards after the merger. Accordingly, depending on the population and area, the new Executive Committee of the commune and ward will have a structure of 27 to 33 cadres, the Standing Committee will have from 9 to 11 cadres.
For the positions of Deputy Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of the new communes and wards, they are also arranged from the source of leaders at the district level, departments, and offices under the Department and Provincial Party Committee.
The above personnel will temporarily start working at the new location from June 16 and the commune-level administrative units will officially operate on July 1.
