The explosion of AI has opened up many opportunities for phone companies from Samsung, Honor, Oppo, Xiaomi, Tecno, Vivo, Google... and is also an important factor shaping the smartphone market in Vietnam.
User users are increasingly interested in AI features when choosing to buy smartphones. Many customers coming to experience not only ask about the design, camera or battery, but also start to learn more about features such as instant language processing, photo creation and editing using AI, smart notes or multi- tasks support. This is something that was quite rare 1-2 years ago, a representative of Di Dong Viet shared with Lao Dong.
AI- integrated devices launched on the market from the beginning of 2025 have all received great attention from customers. The Samsung Galaxy A56, in the mid-range segment, integrates the AI features of the Galaxy S25, has become one of the company's key products in terms of sales.
Recently, the Korean company introduced the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 models and received a lot of attention and pre-orders in the systems. Customers come to the store not only to see the design, refer to the selling price or incentive programs, but also to ask more about the series of new AI features on the device.
Or the Oppo Reno14 series, which has also sold 26,000 units, up 30% compared to the previous generation. This result not only shows the strong attraction of the new product line, but also affirms the company's transformation in the strategy of popularizing advanced AI technology to a wide range of popular users.

Sharing with Lao Dong, Mr. Ho Tu, a technology enthusiast, emphasized: "Actually, when choosing to buy a phone, I also paid attention to many AI-related features - not the type of thing that needs to be had to buy, but because I find it less difficult to use every day. For example, simple as current cameras, AI can self-recognize landscapes, take photos of the sky to increase the color of the sky, take photos of food to highlight the color, so the photos are always beautiful without much need for editing.
The plus point of the companies when launching AI smartphones is that it has small features, but it is very good for users from suggesting reading newspapers, reminding to drink water, finding photos in the library faster, editing photos, deleting objects, translating...
In the high-end segment, it can be clearly seen that AI is becoming a key competitive factor, no longer a plus point. In the mid-range segment, there are more and more basic AI- embedded devices, making it easier for users to access. We believe this is a transitional period, where AI is gradually becoming a default standard on smartphones, regardless of the selling price in which segment, said a sales representative.
In particular, AI is not only available on the most premium product lines (flagship), but is being integrated into popular devices, with a selling price of only a few million VND.
