Apple reveals new smart products to launch next year

Apple is expected to launch a new operating system called homeOS along with a series of smart displays in 2025.

According to a new report from Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple is preparing to launch its homeOS operating system, which is expected to come with its long-in-development smart displays. The first version of this smart display could appear as early as 2025.

There have been rumors of Apple developing a HomePod-like device with a screen. Last summer, Gurman revealed that Apple was working on a smart desktop display that could adjust its viewing angle using a robotic arm, allowing users to have a better experience.

In the latest report, Mark Gurman said that Apple is developing two versions of the smart display. The low-end version will include basic features such as FaceTime support and smart home control.

Meanwhile, the more advanced version will integrate a robotic arm that can rotate and tilt the screen, giving users an optimal viewing angle. However, this high-end product will likely cost more than $1,000.

The low-end version is expected to be released first, possibly as early as next year. After that, the high-end version with a robotic arm is not expected to appear before 2026. However, users will not have to wait too long to experience advanced AI technology from Apple.

According to Gurman, both versions of this smart display will be integrated with Apple Intelligence, helping to improve processing capabilities and support artificial intelligence in everyday tasks.

The new homeOS operating system will be based on the Apple TV's tvOS platform, bringing unity and easy management of devices in the Apple ecosystem. With the introduction of homeOS, Apple is getting closer to its goal of developing a complete smart home ecosystem where devices can interact with each other smoothly and efficiently.

This new information shows that Apple is investing heavily in smart home products, with the goal of providing users with optimal experiences in managing and controlling their homes.

Integrating Apple Intelligence into smart devices not only helps users manage home devices easily, but also optimizes the experience thanks to artificial intelligence, making the home smarter, safer and more convenient.

The launch of smart displays and the homeOS operating system would be an important step for Apple in competing with major rivals like Amazon and Google, which already have advanced smart home products on the market.
