Big tech companies like Apple, Google and Samsung always test their products thoroughly before launching them. However, sometimes they still miss serious hardware errors.
This may result in the temporary replacement of defective equipment or, in more serious cases, a complete product recall.
Samsung and Google have been in this situation before, when they were forced to expand repair programs or recall newly launched products, typically the Galaxy Note 7.
Meanwhile, Apple seems to have little trouble with major hardware failures. This time, however, it seems like something serious has happened to the Apple Watch Series 10.
Many users on Reddit and Apple's support forums are reporting a serious problem with the smartwatch's speaker.
Accordingly, after a period of use, usually a month or more, the speaker of the Apple Watch Series 10 begins to emit unusually weak sounds.
Apple has yet to officially acknowledge the issue, but customers who contact support are being offered a replacement product.
However, what's worrying is that even newly exchanged Apple Watch Series 10s can experience the same error after just a short period of use.
This problem is actually not new, as reports of speaker errors on the Apple Watch Series 10 have been around since October last year, just one month after the product was officially released.
