On February 6, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Science and Technology organized the Award Ceremony for the Press Award on science, technology, innovation and digital transformation in 2025.
The Press Award for Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation in 2025 is not only an opportunity to honor outstanding journalistic works, but also an opportunity to look back at the past journey, continue to affirm the particularly important role of the press in conveying the Party and State's guidelines and policies; encouraging the spirit of innovation; promoting the application of research results in practical life and production.
After 14 years of organization, the 2025 award continues to receive the response and participation of most press agencies at the central and local levels. In 2025, the Organizing Committee received nearly 700 works from authors and groups of authors.
The Ministry of Science and Technology has approved and awarded the Press Award for science, technology, innovation and digital transformation in 2025 to 22 works/groups of works, including 5 first prizes, 5 second prizes, 6 third prizes and 6 consolation prizes.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Bui Hoang Phuong said that this year's award shows the clear maturity of journalism writing about science, technology, innovation and digital transformation.
Many works not only reflect achievements but also delve into core issues such as institutional innovation, development of the innovative ecosystem, digital transformation at the grassroots level, application of technology in healthcare, agriculture, industry and social life.
Also at the ceremony, Deputy Minister Bui Hoang Phuong, on behalf of the Ministry of Science and Technology, launched the 2026 Press Award for Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation.
Accordingly, the 2026 award will continue to accompany the implementation of Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo, focusing on reflecting the process of bringing guidelines and policies on science, technology and digital transformation into production, business and social management practices.
