On May 29, leaders of the Ca Mau Provincial Innovation Center said that the Center coordinated with CiNEC Vietnam to launch an AI songwriting contest within the framework of the Ca Mau Creative Arts and Technology Festival 2026 (CAT 2026) with the theme "Art × Technology × You" (Art × Tech × You).
The contest is organized for the community of music, art and digital technology lovers; encouraging the application of artificial intelligence (AI) and digital technology in the process of composing, orchestrating, producing and performing music.
Participants include individuals, groups of authors, students, artists, content creators, businesses, clubs and art and technology-loving organizations.
According to the Organizing Committee, entries are encouraged to explore topics about Ca Mau, youth, creativity, digital transformation, community and the future in the technology era.
The new point of the competition is that contestants can apply AI in many stages such as composing, orchestrating, visual design, making lyric MVs and stage performances.
The competition is not limited to music genres, from Pop, Ballad, Rap, EDM, Acoustic to contemporary folk, AI Music and Digital Art.
The Organizing Committee will award the First Prize worth 10 million VND, the Second Prize 5 million VND, the Third Prize 3 million VND and many other creative prizes.
In particular, performances entering the final round will be supported with 5 million VND per performance to invest in staging, choreography and stage performance in a professional direction.
The time to receive applications is until September 9, 2026, in the form of online registration.
