In the iOS 26 beta, users can easily see the remaining time for the iPhone to fully charge (100%) or reach 80% while on-charge.
This information appears right on the lock screen and the Settings → Battery (Pin) page, helping users plan to charge the battery more reasonably depending on the type of charger being used, especially useful when using a slow charger like Qi 5W.
In the connection with the battery icon, the time notification such as 18ph (18 minutes) or 1g 48ph (1 hour 48 minutes) appears next to the charging icon, indicating when the battery will be full. If the charging power line is too weak, the iPhone will also announce slow charging instead of displaying it for a long time.
When uncharging, the information section also clearly states the final charging time and the battery level achieved - giving a more visual view of battery charging habits.
This feature was previously available on macOS but has been removed, now the iPhone has officially been available again, meeting the valuable needs of modern users.
In addition to the charging time display feature, iOS 26 also comes with Adaptive Power Mode, which automatically adjusts performance such as reducing screen brightness or extending the running time of applications when seeing battery consumption exceed average.
iOS 26 was announced at WWDC 2025 and is in beta, expected to be officially released in September this year with the launch of iPhone 17.
