Join hands to develop a creative startup ecosystem

TECHFEST is an annual event chaired by the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), in coordination with ministries, branches, localities, and socio-political organizations.

After 9 years of organization, TECHFEST Vietnam has become an important event, attracting the attention of policy-making agencies, managers, corporations, enterprises, creative startup support organizations, domestic and international investment funds, etc., thereby connecting domestic and international resources for the Vietnamese creative startup ecosystem, contributing to affirming Vietnam's position on the global creative startup map.

TECHFEST 2024 aims to introduce, inspire and honor outstanding achievements of science and technology activities in businesses and society as a whole.

According to Mr. Hoang Minh - Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, with the theme of joining hands to develop the Vietnamese innovative startup ecosystem, the series of events with many activities include the opening ceremony of TECHFEST 2024, a forum for high-level policy dialogue, exhibition of innovative products/services; a series of in-depth seminars on developing the innovative startup ecosystem, investment connections, a contest to find Vietnamese innovative startup talents...

In 2024, the Ministry of Science and Technology will coordinate with the People's Committee of Hai Phong City to organize TECHFEST Vietnam to introduce, inspire and honor outstanding achievements of science and technology activities in enterprises and the whole society; at the same time, summarize and evaluate the 10-year journey of forming the science and technology ecosystem and orient the development of the ecosystem in the new period. Create momentum for economic and social development of Vietnam in general and Hai Phong in particular from science and technology activities; Promote the ability to attract technology startups, technology human resources, investment funds, domestic and international experts. Introduce to the domestic and international science and technology community about the dynamic, developing and pioneering Hai Phong city in promoting science and technology; Create a friendly and favorable environment, promote and support the process of forming and developing types of enterprises with the ability to grow rapidly based on exploiting intellectual property, technology, new business models, etc.
