At the discussion session, Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Manh Hung emphasized that green development is a big step forward for human civilization in the context of increasing resource consumption, directly affecting the environment. The Minister also said that green and sustainable development is a big challenge for humanity, but human intelligence will be able to solve this challenge.
"Green conversion is a long way, so we need to build a complete and balanced green ecosystem, including green institutions, green infrastructure, green human resources, green technology, green data and green culture. In this ecosystem, green technology has a decisive role.
In addition, developing science and technology, innovation and digital transformation also aim to serve green and sustainable development. Vietnam has brought these three ministries under the same state management ministry, considering this a strategic choice, a top priority..." - Minister Nguyen Manh Hung informed.
The Minister also proposed to establish a website so that P4G countries, corporations and companies can conveniently and quickly access information about technologies and experiences in green transformation. At the same time, establish an "open Innovation Model" in P4G member countries to form a bridge between solution and technology providers and corporations and organizations in need of green transformation. Because "only with global cooperation can the problem of green development be solved" - the Minister emphasized.
During the Open Discussion Session, delegates also discussed ideas, inventions and new technological solutions to promote green transformation and sustainable development.
