A series of leaks have just revealed the technical specifications of Samsung's next generation of foldable phones. Accordingly, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to be only 8.9mm thick when folded and 4.2mm when unfolded, making it the thinnest Fold model ever produced by Samsung. At the same time, the device is also described as the lightest in the Z Fold series with a weight of only 216g.
Along with that, the technical specifications of batteries, memory options and camera clusters on the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Flip 7 FE have also been revealed, confirming most of what the technology world expects from Samsung. Notably, the Flip 7 secondary screen will be raised to 4.1 inches, a sharp increase compared to 3.4 inches on the Flip 6. The device is also said to be significantly thinner than the previous generation, although it has a larger battery pack.
However, information about the Galaxy Z Fold Ultra model, the device disclosed by Samsung in the leaks in June, has not yet appeared. In a recent press release, the company only hinted at integrating deeper AI into Galaxy hardware.
With the launch event approaching, it is likely that Samsung will keep it a secret until the last minute.
