Google uses AI to filter messages in Gmail

Gmail continues to strongly deploy artificial intelligence (AI) features.

If you are always overloaded with email, finding an old message in the inbox can sometimes become a challenge. Google believes that artificial intelligence (AI) is the solution.

Recently, the company announced that it is rolling out a new update, using AI to analyze search queries in the mailbox, based on recentity, contact frequency, and highest number of clicked emails.

This most relevant search feature will be rolled out globally to personal accounts. Meanwhile, business accounts will have to wait longer, the specific time has not been announced.

However, for those who are hesitant as software increasingly integrates many AI elements, there is a positive point that you are not required to use this feature.

Google said that after personal accounts are updated with the "most relevant results" feature, users can still switch back to the "most recent" view mode, displaying email in the same timeline as before.

On the contrary, if you completely support the trend of integrating AI, then this is really good news. Because in just this month, AI has appeared more and more in Google's search and shopping features.
