According to the announcement on July 3, Veo 3 is now integrated into the Google AI Pro package (priced at 489,000 VND/month, free for the first month). Users can create an 8-second video by entering a direct command on the Gemini chatbot. Additionally, supporting tools like Flow and Whisk help build context, edit, and join videos to create more seamless content.
Veo 3 introduced at the Google I/O 2025 event is the company's most advanced video creation model today. This model is capable of converting text or images into high-quality videos, combining environmental sound, synchronized speech, voiceover and background music, ... bringing a vivid, realistic feeling.
Before officially arriving in Vietnam, Veo 3 had caused a fever on social networks since the beginning of June 2025. Many users have had to use VPNs to access and convert prompts from Vietnamese to English for optimal results. Some individuals and groups also open video creation services on request, with prices of hundreds of thousands of VND/clip.
However, in addition to the potential for widespread application in content creation, advertising, education, ... this technology also raises concerns about the risk of spreading fake news, toxic content or affecting the jobs of workers in the traditional video production industry.
Discussing this issue with Lao Dong, Mr. Ngo Minh Hieu (Hieu PC) - Cyber security expert, Director of the Anti-Fraud Project commented: "AI creating videos like Veo 3 is opening an era of high-speed content creation, but it also means the risk of the widespread appearance of counterfeit products, information manipulation or insulting personal honor. When the line between real and fake is erased, verifying the origin becomes more important than ever.
According to Hieu PC, this technology not only threatens the role of post-production and film-making people, but also poses a big challenge for the legal system and content management in cyberspace. If not well controlled, AI videos can become a double-edged sword, Hieu PC emphasized.
A Google representative confirmed that the company has integrated clear identification measures with AI videos. Each content created from the user's image will have a watermark and a synthID hidden digital symbol, helping to distinguish it from real videos.
We are committed to bringing a safe and responsible experience to users. Security checks, content reviews, and strict control policies will be applied to prevent technology overuse, Google said.
