From April 15, along with the implementation of subscriber confirmation on VNeID, many people have accessed the application to check phone number information in their name. During the implementation process, many cases reflected that they did not see the phone number displayed on the system, leading to concerns about the cause and how to handle it.
Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Le Van Long (Hai Phong) said that after hearing information about the new regulation, he proactively went to VNeID to check. However, although he has been using this phone number for many years, when accessing the application, it is not displayed.
I thought I would definitely see the number I was using right away, but when I checked, it wasn't there. At that time, I was quite confused, not knowing if it would affect my use," Mr. Long shared.
According to the process, from April 15, the VNeID application will send notifications to users in batches. Users will be required to confirm whether or not they are using phone numbers that are in their names on all mobile networks in the country. If the user confirms that they are not using, that phone number will be required to update information, otherwise it will be one-way locked for 60 days. Conversely, if the main subscriber has enough information, the user can skip it.
Therefore, if you do not see the phone number displayed on VNeID, wait longer and try again later. Or users can wait until they receive a message from the network operator or notification from the electronic identification application.
In fact, the new regulations do not require all subscribers to verify. Subscribers who have registered with VNeID, ID cards, chip-based citizen ID cards, or numbers used to register for level 2 VNeID accounts are not required to do so.
According to Viettel network operator, the unit has proactively sent messages to this group, affirming that they do not need to perform any additional operations and can use the service normally.
The remaining customers will need facial biometric authentication according to regulations. Network operators also recommend users to access network operators' applications to implement it early. People without smartphones and VNeID applications will also be classified and support will be deployed on-site.
