Discovering high blood pressure
According to Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, blood pressure monitoring could be the next major health improvement on the Apple Watch and will likely appear on the Ultra 3.
However, the watch will not accurately measure the center-field and center-field blood pressure indexes but only monitor the user's blood pressure trend. If signs of high blood pressure are detected, the device will send a warning for users to have a thorough check-up with a doctor.
High blood pressure often has no obvious symptoms until it becomes severe, leading to dangerous cardiovascular problems. Early detection with Apple Watch can help prevent serious complications.
brighter display, faster refresh rate
The Apple Watch Series 10, launched last year, has surpassed the Ultra in display technology, so Apple is likely to bring these improvements to the Ultra 3.
The Ultra 3 can be upgraded to an LTPO3 OLED Always-on Retina screen, making the display smoother, with thumbs moving continuously on the clock face. In addition, wide-angle OLED technology will also help the screen look 40% brighter when viewed at an incline.

New processor, better performance
After two years, Apple is almost certain to upgrade the processor chip for the Ultra 3.
The Ultra 2 is using the S9 chip, while the Apple Watch Series 10 is equipped with a more compact S10 chip. If the Ultra 3 uses the S11 chip, it can bring more powerful performance or integrate new features.
At the same time, reducing the chip size can help free up internal space to add a larger battery.
Satellite connection
The Apple Watch Ultra 3 is rumored to have satellite connectivity, similar to the iPhone. This allows users to send messages without a mobile signal or Wi-Fi. A useful feature for tourists, mountain climbers or explorers.
Initially, satellite connections on the iPhone only supported emergency messages, but with iOS 18, Apple has expanded this feature to all regular messages. If the Ultra 3 integrates this feature, it will compete better with Garmin's specialized devices.
