The new feature promises to overcome long-standing inconveniences and enhance the experience for the expanding community.
Previously, Threads users had almost no way to know whether an article was part of a series of consecutive articles or not. This makes it difficult to track consecutive content.
Meta said it has made more changes to make card chains more transparent. Specifically, the platform added an view more label to signal that the article will continue in the following sections.
When clicked, the cards will be arranged in a new design, with the order and total cards in the chain. This makes it easier for users to track, instead of having to manually write 1/12 in each post. The new features will soon be available on both mobile and the web.
This move comes as Threads has just reached the milestone of 400 million monthly active users.
To meet the growing user base, Meta has also launched many new features, including the ability to attach text up to 10,000 characters long.
