After implementing one-way locking for subscribers who have not completed information verification according to regulations, many network operators recorded a significant increase in the number of customers coming to transaction points on June 15.
According to Viettel Telecom, the number of customers directly coming to transaction points to verify subscriber information increased by about 40% compared to previous days. To meet the arising demand, the enterprise has adjusted operating hours nationwide, opening from 7 am and closing at 8 pm. In areas with industrial parks and export processing zones, many stores continue to serve after 8 pm to support workers after work to transact.
Previously, from 0:00 on June 15, Viettel had one-way locked more than 5 million subscribers who had not implemented the provisions of Circular 08. The network operator said it was maintaining a 24/24 hour operating system, and at the same time continuing to operate about 50,000 support points nationwide to serve customers.

Reporters' records at some transaction points in the morning and noon of June 15 show that the number of customers coming to check their subscription status, verify information and restore services has increased sharply compared to normal days. Many people said that only when they cannot make calls or send messages do they proactively go to the store to complete procedures.
Meanwhile, VinaPhone started to implement one-way locking from 9:00 AM on June 15 for nearly 3 million subscribers who are required to be verified but have not completed procedures. These subscribers were temporarily suspended from sending outward calls and sending outward messages but still maintained the ability to receive incoming calls and messages.

According to VinaPhone, this is the first step in the subscriber management roadmap. After being one-way locked, customers still have another 60 days to carry out authentication. If this time limit expires and the procedures are not completed, the subscriber will continue to be two-way locked. After 5 days from the time of two-way locking, the network operator will terminate the provision of services according to regulations.
VinaPhone said that customers can perform online verification through the My VNPT or VNeID application. For cases where direct support is needed, users can go to VinaPhone and VNPT transaction points nationwide. Immediately after completing successful verification, the subscriber will be reopened to the service without waiting for further processing milestones.
Network operators recommend that customers who have received notifications but have not carried out verification should complete procedures soon to avoid affecting communication and electronic transactions in the near future.
