In the 100-day peak period of accelerating digital transformation, realizing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo, Hanoi is continuing to promote online public services, bringing many stages in the process of resolving administrative procedures to the digital environment.
Coming to the Public Administrative Service Center Branch No. 1 to submit the mortgage application, Mr. Pham Ba My (Hoan Kiem ward, Hanoi) said that right from the time he entered the center, he was instructed by the receptionist to go to the digitization counter to scan and download the application before performing the next steps.
I am very satisfied with being served when submitting applications. Through digitization on public services, I can grasp the progress of applications, be proactive in time to know where the applications are, whether there are results or not to arrange to receive them, saving time and effort," Mr. My said.
Instead of having to perform all direct stages, people can declare dossiers, book appointments and monitor the process of resolution on the National Public Service Portal, iHanoi application.

Mr. Doan Hoang Anh (Thanh Xuan ward) came to the center to carry out procedures for transferring the red book. According to Mr. Hoang Anh, digitization helps to look up documents more conveniently.
At first, I was still unfamiliar, but I was enthusiastically guided by the staff, so I gradually got used to and learned how to use computers to work. In the near future, I hope that procedures that have not been digitized will continue to be implemented so that people can learn, look up and submit dossiers online more conveniently," he emphasized.
Talking to reporters, Ms. Nguyen Thi Viet Ha - Deputy Director of Branch of Public Administrative Service Center No. 1 - said that people and businesses are gradually getting used to carrying out procedures on digital platforms. From getting an order number, scheduling in advance to online filing, some operations that were previously performed directly can now be performed on an electronic platform.
Notably, the center has applied AI to support people in doing administrative procedures.
Currently, we have deployed an AI switchboard, supporting to answer people's questions 24/7 quickly and automatically. This also helps reduce the burden of civil servants and personnel who have to be on duty regularly," Ms. Ha informed.
However, besides changing and digitizing the way of resolving administrative procedures, people also need to gradually get used to new methods of implementation, online instead of direct as before.

Ms. Ha added that to change this habit, it is necessary to continue to propagate and guide people to use online public services. When familiar with the new approach, people can declare and submit dossiers at home and monitor the process of resolution without having to travel a lot.
In the coming time, the center plans to build many new digital models, such as electronic appointment slips, for people to receive information through public service accounts after filing dossiers. The results of processing procedures are also digitized on the system, people can receive electronic or paper copies at home through postal services.
