According to the Chairman of the Vietnam Doors Association, in order to contribute to environmental protection, the association also encourages businesses to use environmentally friendly materials and technologies, such as glass with heat-resistant coating, and industrial wood door products instead of plastic. At the same time, the association also awards awards to businesses with environmental protection awareness.

Regarding challenges for the Vietnamese door industry, Mr. Huan said that the door industry is currently lacking vocational training institutions, so the association wishes to cooperate with vocational colleges to build professional training programs for members.
In the coming time, the association will organize many events and specialized seminars to help businesses access new technologies, products and knowledge, thereby improving the quality of human resources and catching up with development trends. "The Association wishes to contribute to the development of quality standards and regulations, in order to eliminate poor quality products from the market, creating favorable conditions for good products to develop," Mr. Huan emphasized.
According to the IMARC report (2024), the Vietnamese door market is currently at 590600 million USD, equivalent to 12% of the total construction industry value (3675 billion USD). It is forecasted that by 2033, the Vietnamese construction industry will grow by 78%/year, while the door market will remain at 45%/year. Along with smart door products, green materials, and energy saving, the Vietnamese door industry is opening up opportunities for a strong breakthrough in the next decade.
