Samsung recently unveiled the Galaxy S25 Edge, which is considered the ultra-thin version of the Galaxy S25 series.
According to information from technology news site 91mobiles, the Galaxy S25 Edge has appeared on China's 3C certification page (mandatory product quality inspection system page) with model code SM-S9370. The document shows that this device supports fast charging with a capacity of 25W - similar to the standard version of the Galaxy S25. However, the charger will not be included in the box.
The Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to launch next April with an impressive thickness of only 6mm. This makes the Galaxy S25 Edge 16.7% thinner than the standard version.
A recent report said that the device will be sold in 39 countries. However, the US and Canada are notably absent from this list.
This raises many questions. Because if Samsung does not release the Galaxy S25 Edge in the US, this could pave the way for Apple with the iPhone 17 Air to dominate the ultra-thin smartphone market in this country.
Another question is how much the Galaxy S25 Edge will cost? Will it be a premium product or on par with the Galaxy S25 series?
In terms of specifications, the Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip - similar to other versions in the Galaxy S25 series.
However, according to the documents, this device is only equipped with a rather small 3,900mAh battery, possibly due to the device's ultra-thin size.
While an ultra-thin phone is certainly desirable, is it worth sacrificing some important features? This is probably the question many users are asking themselves when considering the upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge.
