On November 28, the Center for Research and Application of Population Data and Citizen Identification (RAR Center) - Ministry of Public Security and One Mount Group signed a cooperation agreement and contract to deploy electronic authentication services via VNeID on the OneU application.
The cooperation event opens a new milestone in the journey to develop a comprehensive digital ecosystem in Vietnam, contributing to the implementation of the goals of the National Digital Transformation Strategy, especially in the fields of consumption, real estate and health care.
Also within the framework of the event, the two sides signed a contract to deploy electronic authentication services via VNeID on OneU - a lifestyle application in the One Mount ecosystem.
Accordingly, VNeID will be officially widely integrated, becoming the safest method of identification and authentication for millions of users when accessing financial, retail and utility services on OneU.
The two sides will coordinate in researching, integrating and implementing solutions based on the population data platform, identification and electronic authentication developed by the RAR Center.
Specific areas of cooperation include:
Electronic identification - authentication: Research on connecting and using electronic authentication services via VNeID for platforms in the ecosystem;
Health - insurance - social security: Research and deploy a number of solutions to apply population data to serve social security, health and insurance (Support for handling insurance compensation; Support for remote medical examination and treatment, ...);
Real estate: Research and development of real estate valuation and legal authentication tools using AI (AI Property) integrated on VNeID;
Digital payment - finance: Research on integrating digital payment solutions, e-wallets, financial utilities on VNeID;
utility services for digital citizens: Research and coordinate the development of services serving digital life, smart consumption, digital services for citizens, business households, small and medium enterprises (SME);
Research - innovation: Research on testing new models and technology solutions based on population data to promote national digital transformation.
Colonel Tran Hong Phu - Deputy Director of the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order (Ministry of Public Security) - said that signing the above memorandum of understanding is an important first step to promote the development of solutions for applying population data, citizen identification cards, identification and electronic authentication, in line with the orientation of Resolution 57-NQ/TW on data development and digital economy, as well as contributing to the effective implementation of Project 06 of the Government.
Mr. Phung Quang Hung - General Director of One Mount Group - believes that integrating electronic identification solutions via VNeID will help increase transaction safety, reduce fraud, optimize user experience, and open up opportunities to create many new digital services, from financial services, smart consumer services, real estate, to social security services.
"That is an important foundation for developing digital citizens and digital businesses in the near future," said Mr. Hung.
