On September 4, information from the Ministry of Justice said that Minister Nguyen Hai Ninh had just chaired a meeting of the Steering Committee of the Ministry of Justice on the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, giving opinions on the preliminary architectural framework, software to monitor the implementation results of Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW of the Politburo and the Project on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in legal work.
Deputy Ministers Nguyen Thanh Tinh and Mai Luong Khoi co-chaired the meeting.
At the meeting, delegates listened to an introduction to the Digital Architecture Framework of the Ministry of Justice; the progress of building software to monitor the implementation results of Resolution No. 66 of the Politburo and the AI Application Project to serve the work of building, testing and reviewing legal documents.
According to the report, the content of digital transformation of the Judiciary includes a number of specific goals. In particular, for law-making and enforcement activities, it includes restructuring processes and law management on digital platforms; building a large database of laws; applying AI to review conflicts and overlaps in the legal system; real-time monitoring and enforcement assessment system.
Regarding administrative procedure control, the goal is to standardize records, digitize all administrative procedures; reduce file components, replace them with data; 100% of online public services for all eligible services...
At the meeting, assessing that the draft Digital Architecture framework of the Ministry of Justice basically met the requirements, Minister Nguyen Hai Ninh requested the units under the Ministry to continue to give written opinions on the draft; focus on contents such as architectural software, database, and standardization of software names.
At the same time, review the missing contents as well as the overlapping contents with other work being implemented to adjust.
The Minister said that from October 2024 to August 2025, the Government issued 420 legal documents, including 208 decrees. Therefore, it is necessary to apply information technology, contributing to improving the quality of legal document development.
The Minister also requested the organization of regular meetings on the implementation of breakthrough tasks in the development of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation of the Ministry of Justice; focus on reviewing and counting the progress of implementing assigned general tasks, identifying difficulties, problems as well as responsibilities to take measures to handle them.
