How to eat fried foods that least affect liver function

Liver function will be affected when eating too much fried food. But that does not mean that this type of food must be eliminated.

Fried foods are not necessarily completely eliminated from the diet, but eating habits and frequency of use can determine the level of impact on metabolic health and liver function.

When eating a lot of fried foods, the body is more likely to absorb higher amounts of energy and fat than needed. If this situation persists, especially when accompanied by overweight, obesity or lack of exercise, the amount of fat accumulated in the liver may increase. Therefore, the most important principle is to eat less, eat just enough and choose the appropriate cooking method.

First, you should limit deep-fried dishes, especially food that has been fried at high temperatures for a long time.

You can replace it with frying with a small amount of oil, baking, or using an oil-free frying pan. These methods help reduce the amount of oil absorbed into food. If you have to fry, use new oil and do not reuse the oil that has been fried many times. Cooking oil should be used properly, avoiding being too hot to smoke.

Second, pay attention to portion sizes. Instead of eating a large plate of fried food, you should only use a small portion and combine it with plenty of green vegetables, mushrooms, beans or fiber-rich foods.

This combination helps the meal be more balanced and limits the absorption of too much energy from fat. At the same time, you should limit eating fried foods with sugary soft drinks, pastries or sugary sauces, because the total amount of excess energy can also be detrimental to fat metabolism in the liver.

Finally, eating frequency is as important as processing. A dish fried with little oil but eaten regularly with a large portion is still not a good choice. Conversely, if you only eat occasionally, with a moderate portion and maintain a diet high in vegetables, enough protein, and fewer super processed foods, the risk of adverse effects will be lower.

The most "friendly" way to eat fried foods with the liver is to reduce frequency, reduce oil intake, not reuse oil, control portion sizes and eat with fiber-rich foods.

More importantly, liver health depends on the entire diet, weight and lifestyle, not just on a single dish.
