Detoxify the body with soaked raisin juice

Detoxifying the body is the right thing to do to strengthen the immune system, improve the digestive system, increase energy, support weight loss and beautify the skin.

One of the types of water used to detoxify the body is soaked raisin juice. However, whether this type of water is really effective or not needs to be considered.

Nutrients in raisins

Dried grapes are grapes that have had most of their water removed, so they have a higher content of sugar, fiber, minerals, and plant compounds (polyphenols, flavonoids) than fresh grapes. Research shows that when dried, grape skins still retain high levels of polyphenols and antioxidants.

Another study on mice and a kidney disease model shows that grape flour supplementation helps improve kidney function by reducing oxidative stress. Thus, raisin basically has the potential to provide health-healthy compounds - such as antioxidants, supporting kidney and cardiovascular function. But that does not mean comprehensive "detoxification".

Does it really have a detoxification effect?

Soaking raisin in water, for example, soaking it overnight, then drinking it, will supplement the amount of water for the body. This is good for the kidneys and excretion, as adequate water helps the kidneys function better.

Dried grapes contain minerals such as potassium, iron, magnesium, and antioxidants. If used as part of a balanced diet, raisin can support overall health because it is good for digestion, circulation, and antioxidants.

Drinking soaked raisin juice or raisin juice to detoxify the liver and kidneys and cleanse the body strongly is not well-founded. When soaked in water, the amount of fiber in grapes will not dissolve into the water but will still be in the fruit, so the actual water to drink does not provide all the benefits of eating whole fruit.

Soaking dried grapes in water can cause soluble sugar, if drinking a lot of soft drinks or sugar, it can be disadvantageous, especially for people with diabetes or controlling sugar levels.

Drinking rainwater soaked in raisin can be a healthy habit if combined with a balanced diet such as eating lots of fresh vegetables and fruits, getting enough water, getting enough sleep, and exercising. Dried grapes contribute beneficial minerals and polyphenols, but should not be considered the best way to detoxify.
